After more than 90 years of faithful ministry, Poplar Level Baptist Church has officially closed its doors. What began as a small congregation rooted in faith and community grew into a family that touched countless lives through worship, service, and love. Generations have gathered here to celebrate milestones, comfort one another in times of need, and share the hope of Jesus Christ.

Though Poplar Level Baptist Church’s chapter has come to a close, its spirit and mission continue.  The church will be adopted and transferred to Eastpoint Community Church in the next several months.  Beginning October 19, 2025, services will no longer be held at the current property.  Worship services will continue at Eastpoint, located at the KBC building (13420 Eastpoint Centre Dr. Louisville, KY 40223). Our prayer is that the light of Christ that began here will continue to shine brightly through Eastpoint’s ministry and in the hearts of all who have been part of the Poplar Level Baptist Church family.

We extend our deepest thanks to everyone who has been part of this journey — members, pastors, families, and friends who built this legacy of faith. May God continue to bless and guide us all as we carry forward the love and truth that have defined Poplar Level Baptist Church for nearly a century.
